The Journey of Antonio Villaraigosa From City Terrace to City Hall

On July 1, 2005 Antonio Villaraigosa became the first Latino mayor of Los Angeles since 1872. Antonio Villaraigosa, grew up in City Terrace, in East Los Angeles. The determined struggle of his mother, Natalia Delgado, made a deep impression on him as a boy. Her belief in him, served as a guiding force leading him to reach his potential. Today he continues to dare Angelenos to dream of, and to believe in, a better future for the City of Angels.

Anything is Possible, includes an intimate selection of images that document Antonio Villaraigosa's journey to becoming mayor and important accomplishments during his terms in office.
