Don't know how to celebrate Cinco de Mayo this year?  Join us at LA Plaza on Thursday, May 5, from 4pm to 7pm, as we ring in our first Cinco de Mayo with music, crafts, and free admission!

While mariachi roam our campus, KPFK DJ Betto Arcos (“Global Village”) will spin a variety of French and Mexican tunes, including music dating back to the Battle of Puebla in 1862.

In our garden, local artist collective LA ArtLab will lead all-ages Cinco de Mayo-themed art workshops, while the Border Grill truck serves up delectible modern Mexican fare (for purchase).

Event is nonticketed, free, and open to the public.  We hope to see you there!
