Judy Baca captures a moment in Los Angeles history depicting the deportation of approximately 30,000 Angelenos of Mexican heritage, the first massive dragnet raid ever in the history of the Immigration and Naturalization Service. A sketch of this piece, part of The Great Wall of Los Angeles, is on display as part of “Lasting Legacies: A Tribute to the Chicano Art Movement.”

There are two weeks left to explore iconic works by the pioneers of the Chicano Art Movement in Los Angeles, 1945-80. On view till January 30th, this exhibition includes works by:
