¡Gracias a Nuestros Voluntarios!
In celebration of National Volunteer Week, LA Plaza sends a special THANK YOU to our amazing volunteer team!
Several times a week, volunteers assist children and families through their exploration of Mexican and Mexican American history in Los Angeles. From examining the census information of Los Angeles’ founding settlers, listening to Lalo Guerrero’s “Los Chucos Suaves,” trying on hats in LA Plaza’s 1920’s dress shop, to designing art prints and commercial buildings with young students—our volunteers do it all and much more! Above all, LA Plaza’s volunteers engage and inspire students and visitors to become a part of history.
We are glad that every one of our volunteers is committed to LA Plaza’s mission—and we hope that our community is inspired by their excitement and enthusiasm!
THANK YOU FOR BEING PART OF THE TEAM!!!
