¡Bienvenidos! Welcome to La Voz, the official blog of LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes. Here you'll find the latest news and a few sneak peeks as we prepare for our April 2011 opening. We decided on the name "La Voz" (or "The Voice"), because that's what this is: a place for us to share what we're doing and provide you with a forum to respond, a voice within LA Plaza.

Here at LA Plaza, we're all about interaction. Our exhibits aren't static or unapproachable; they invite you to participate, to contribute, to be part of the story. The story of Mexican Americans is rich and constantly evolving, so we need your help to tell it. It is with that same sentiment that we present La Voz. We'll open a window into LA Plaza, and we want to hear from you in return. Let us know what you think of LA Plaza, what you'd like to see here, what you think about the world...whatever! Sound good?

To get started, we'd love to have you check out our beautiful new website (thanks, Seso!) and find out more about who we are. Please feel free to leave comments below letting us know what you'd like to see on La Voz.

We can't wait to introduce you to LA Plaza!
