Unconstitutional Deportation During the Great Depression

Join us for an educator training exploring the unconstitutional deportation of Mexican Americans during the Great Depression. During this forced removed, known as Repatriation, the U.S. government deported approximately 2 million people, 60% of which were U.S. Citizens and legal residents.

Christine Valenciana, Ph.D., Associate Professor, CSU Fullerton. Daughter of Emilia Castañeda, deported in 1935.
