ADA - Certified Service Animals
LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes abides by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) by allowing service animals only into all the public areas of the museum.
The definition of a service animal, as defined by ADA is "any dog that is individually trained to work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability." This can also extend to miniature horses (additional requirements for miniature horses are explained in Behavior of Service Animals below). Dogs and miniature horses are the only animals recognized animals by Federal and State Law.
