Banned during the colonial invasion of the Americas, amaranth persevered with the help of indigenous land cultivators for hundreds of years. Thanks to them, we are now able to enjoy the amazing nutritional benefits of amaranth.

In this class, we will learn how to process amarath to use in making a nourishing flat bread. Participants will get to accompany their flatbread with a variety of indigenous-inspired spreads.
