This cooking class begins with a brief platica on how Indigenous midwives sustained pre and postnatal diets in Tongva/LA, baby food politics, and womb ecology followed by simple comiditas towards feeding our babies Indigenous foods, while activating their ancestral taste buds and genetic memories.
Feeding stages include 4-6 months, 7-9 months, 10-12months, and 1to 2 years old.
