This cooking class begins with a brief platica on how Indigenous midwives sustained pre and postnatal diets in Tongva/LA, baby food politics, and womb ecology followed by simple comiditas towards feeding our babies Indigenous foods, while activating their ancetral taste buds and genetic memories.
