Mole, Molli, or Mulli, the word for “sauce” in Nahuatl, is not just a chocolate sauce; it is a complex synchronization of seeds, plantains, tortillas, spices, and more. It is important to note, not all moles are equal. They come in assorted colors and textures and vary from state to state.
