Meet the KCRW crew at LA Plaza for a brand-new Summer Nights! With sets from Jungle Fire and KCRW DJ José Galvan, food, beer garden, silk-screen printing, vendors and after-hours museum access until 8pm. 

Hailing from Los Angeles, Jungle Fire’s diverse musical and cultural backgrounds are a direct reflection of the landscape of our city. This local TropiFunk juggernaut pulls its influences from the music of legends such as Irakere, Ray Barretto, James Brown, Fela Kuti and Manu Dibango (just to name a few) while creating a melting pot of Afro-Caribbean and West African rhythms with heavy breakbeat funk that is as authentic as it is explosive to see live– did someone say dance party?
