The Latinas & Latinos of Mixed Ancestry (LOMA) Film Festival shares stories of people that embody the intersection of Latinos and non-Latinos. Latino culture was built on the interaction between diverse communities from all over the world. This festival shares how this tradition continues creating a new diverse Latino community.

We will also have award recognition in the following categories:
La Cumbre Best of Show: This award shall be given based on all aspects of the film including theme, talent, and impact.
Theme Award: This award shall be given based on the best expression of the LOMA criteria through the story and presentation.
Talent Award: This award shall be given based on either the directing, acting, or writing of the film.
Audience Choice Award: This award shall be given based on votes by the audience for best film.

The festival organizer Multiracial Americans of Southern California (MASC) is a non-profit with a nearly forty-year track record of creativity and integrity in the mixed-race community. Festival presenter LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes has been a showcase of Latino talent within the cultural heart of Los Angeles. This festival presents a unique audience and opportunity for screening your film in Hollywood’s backyard.
