Come to LA Tienda museum gift store and meet the iconic Chicana artist, Margaret Garcia, as she signs the recently published catalog based on her landmark exhibition, Arte para la gente: The Collected Works of Margaret Garcia, which took place at LA Plaza in 2023.  Margaret Garcia: Arte para la gente is a fully-illustrated publication that includes full-color and black and white images of her dynamic artwork, along with essays by curators Karen Crews Hendon, Esperanza Sanchez and Anna Bermudez, and Cheech Marin, Tomas Alamaguer, and Jimmy Centeno.  The catalog will be available for purchase at LA Tienda for $25 before, during and after the event.
