It is believed that the nuns of Puebla, Mexico created the original recipe for mole, which was often cooked in beautiful cazuelas and is considered a masterpiece in Mexican Cuisine.
In this class, we introduce Merced Sanchez, a grandmother from Puebla who was featured in our previous exhibition, Abuelita’s Kitchen: Mexican Food Stories. Merced will share her food journey and prepare for tasting the legendary dish of Mole Poblano with handmade tortillas.
