Sabor a Mi Panamá
Discover the unique culinary traditions and cultural connections of African-inspired Panamanian cuisine in Los Angeles. In this class, Panamanian cuisine will be explored with Lorraine’s Kitchen, Flavors of Panamá, where attendees will prepare various dishes while exploring Afro Latino food traditions and the African Diaspora through this hands-on cooking class. Learn to make arroz con coco, pollo guisado and plantains cooked in two different ways. Presented in conjunction with LA Plaza’s exhibition of afroLAtinidad: mi casa, my city.
