Inspired by true events – SUSPECT ENTERTAINMENT – is a half-hour, single-camera, dramedy series based on the life of Manny Jimenez Sr. and his journey in Hollywood.  After experiencing a miracle and getting released from jail, Manny gets a second chance at a new life and commits himself to go legit. But he soon realizes that society only sees him as a gang member, so he doesn’t have many options. With a pile of bills, a new baby on the way, and the encouragement of his baby mama Connie, Manny is determined.   Inspired by Robert Downey Jr. and Martha Stewart’s stories, Manny remembers his childhood dream – to work in the movies – HOLLYWOOD, so with no connections, he and Connie go on a mission to find him work in the film industry. Rejection after rejection, Manny keeps going. He eventually breaks in and gets on an actual movie set, but his first day is not what he expected. Manny then realizes everything he learned in the ‘hood prepared him for Hollywood.  Written, Directed and Created by Manny Jimenez Sr.  Food and drinks will be available for sale.
