LA PLAZA VILLAGE

LA Plaza Village is a 425,000 square foot mixed-use complex located in one of the oldest historic districts of Los Angeles. Consisting of four buildings ranging from five to seven stories tall, the project will provide 355 multifamily units with approximately 20 percent dedicatd to affordable housing. Amenities will include a fintess center, pool and spa, and open community spaces. More than 37,000 square fee of retail space will provide exciting options for residents and visitors. A signficant feature includes the creation of a landscaped historic paseo connecting LA Plaza Village with LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes, Olvera Street, and Union Station.

LA Plaza Village is a 3.7 acre, $160 million project developed by LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes, High Street Residential, Trammel Crow Company, the Cesar Chavez Foundation, Principal Real Estate Investors, and the County of Los Angeles. The project is located on two former surface parking lots that encompass Spring and Broadway streets from Fort Moore Pioneer Memorial, between Cesar Chavez Avenue and Arcadia Street.

Four prominent local Chicano/a artists -- Judithe Hernández, José Lozano, Miguel Angele Reyes, and Barbara Carrasco -- have been selected to create new murals thatwill adorn LA Plaza Village.
