During the final week of LA Plaza’s Community Ofrenda, participate in a Día de los Muertos Picture Frame Workshop, a mini book talk and author pop-up with Dr. Kathleen Contreras—author of Born to Play Beisbol: The Magical Career of Fernando Valenzuela—and learn from our community partner Immigo, offering immigration resources and community information.

On Les Navegantes tours, you complete the LA story! We invite you to learn and share about your history in Los Angeles by taking a free tour with LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes’ Navegantes. Together, tour and navigate the museum while learning about the Latino presence in Los Angeles—from the founding of the city to today’s issues. The LA experience is incomplete without you—ask questions, discuss issues in your community, and share with a Navegante what you love or want to change about LA.
When is the next tour? Navegantes lead free tours and discussions on the first Saturday of the month from 12pm to 2pm.
