Experience the award-winning sounds of Mariachi Los Álanos, one of Los Angeles’ most recognized student mariachi ensembles, representing James A. Garfield High School and the rich musical traditions of Mexico.
Mariachi Olímpico – Roosevelt High School
Enjoy a performance by Mariachi Olímpico from Theodore Roosevelt High School, a celebrated student ensemble that continues to preserve and share the cultural legacy of mariachi music with new generations.
Mariachi Los Jaguares – Palmdale Charter Academy High School
Representing Palmdale Charter Academy High School, Mariachi Los Jaguares brings the energy, talent, and pride of Southern California’s youth mariachi tradition to Casa México.
Gymyg Zumba Experience
Following the mariachi performances, join GYMYG for an energetic community Zumba session designed for the entire family. GYMYG is a Los Angeles-based wellness platform that offers live, bilingual fitness experiences focused on making wellness accessible, interactive, and fun. This special Casa México Zumba session will celebrate culture, music, movement, and community.
WEAVING NETS, BY BETSABÉE ROMERO
Step into Weaving Nets, a sculptural soccer goal by celebrated Mexican artist Betsabé Romero. Designed to connect communities across borders, this public art installation brings together art, culture, migration, and sport in a powerful celebration of unity and belonging.
PAINTED GOALS, BY JAZZAMOART
Experience Painted Goals, a colorful exhibition of paintings and artist-transformed soccer balls by Mexican artist Jazzamoart. Inspired by the energy of the futbol soccer, the exhibition highlights the artist’s enduring relationship with fútbol, dating back to his participation in a World Cup-themed exhibition in Mexico in 1986. Through bold colors and expressive forms, Jazzamoart captures the movement, emotion, and cultural significance of the sport.
