Join us for an inspiring day of award-winning films, filmmaker conversations, community, and cultural celebration. Experience stories that entertain, challenge, and connect audiences across generations and cultures as we honor actors, filmmakers, and community arts advocates. Enjoy live entertainment.

The TAKE 3 Film Festival brings together creative talent and films from around the world to elevate diverse voices, foster artistic excellence, and strengthen community through the power of cinema.

EVENT SCHEDULE

  • 2–4 pm – Acting workshop by Elpidia Carrillo (separated RSVP required)
  • 6 pm – Red Carpet and performance by Folklórico Misantla
  • 7:30 pm – Film Screenings
  • 9:30 pm – Community and Cinematic Excellence Awards
  • 10 pm – Program ends

Hosted by Mauricio Mendoza, actor and filmmaker, and Juan Escobedo, filmmaker and founder of the East LA Film Festival, TAKE 3 will be honoring actors, filmmakers, and community art advocates for their Community and Cinematic Excellence:
