This unique conversation will allow you to explore Verdad’s insights into his career and the making of the Tonántzin installation, a contemporary reinterpretation of the Mesoamerican Goddess. The exhibition, Louis Verdad: TONÁNTZIN, is in conjunction with LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes PST ART Community Hub.
Louis Verdad’s studio is based in Los Angeles and his designs have adorned celebrities such as Christina Aguilera, Halle Berry, Cate Blanchett, Cher, Paris Hilton, Eva Longoria, Madonna, Oprah Winfrey and others. Much of his style bridges fashion and sculpture, and he is currently developing new works that highlights his Mexican roots.
