Join us for a powerful afternoon of storytelling and dialogue featuring award-winning author Reyna Grande as she presents her new memoir-in-essays, Migrant Heart: Essays About Things I Can’t Forget. For this special event, Reyna Grande will be in conversation with bestselling author Julissa Arce (You Sound Like a White Girl). Together, these two influential voices will discuss the complexities of the immigrant experience, moving beyond the immigrant success story to discuss the deeper realities of motherhood, a writing career, and the internal work of healing from the scars left by migration. Books will be available for purchase from Bloom Wild Bookshop.
