Young Angelenos ages 15–18 who participated in the Smithsonian’s LA Youth 250 program will come together for a conversation about creating art inspired by their communities, experiences, and perspectives.

Since July, LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes, the Chinese American Museum, LA Commons, and Kizuna brought together students for six in-depth sessions exploring civic engagement through conversations with guest facilitators and visits to cultural organizations. During the plática, participating students will reflect on their experiences in the program, the relationships they developed, and the creative work they produced throughout the experience.

This program is presented in partnership with the Smithsonian.
