LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes stands with our community during these challenging times—especially our undocumented neighbors, friends, and family.
As our beloved Los Angeles deals with the unconstitutional and inhumane raids throughout our region, LA Plaza remains rooted in purpose, centering the history of Latinx people in Los Angeles and serving as a living testament to the resilience and contributions of our communities.
Now more than ever, we are resolute in our mission to amplify diverse Latinx voices—undocumented, biracial, bicultural, Indigenous, LGBTQIA—and provide a space where Latino culture, history, and connection endure.
These are not just words—they are an act of resistance.
As the only Los Angeles County cultural center and museum dedicated to telling the stories of Latinx people in Los Angeles, we’re proud to reopen our doors and offer a safe, welcoming space—not just for the Latino community but for everyone who calls this city home.
Together, we reaffirm what we already know: We are loving, joyful, and strong people, integral to the story of Los Angeles and this country.
We are open with a full heart, and we invite you to show up and show out, as only Angelenos can because LA Plaza belongs to you. We love L.A.!
¡Adelante!
